Utilizing the style and art direction of the famous Brad Kunkle, I explored ways of incorporating quotes from the book that alluded to Anne's beauty in the imaginative world that nature provided for her. Nature, as a means of solitude and comfort, was Anne's safe haven.
Another exploration featuring a quote speaking more to Anne's sense of peace and the beauty of imaginative nature.
The final frame features golden leaves and feathers, a blend of fauna and flora, brushing pass her name whimsically etched into a tree, her place of safety. We felt that this treatment perfectly alluded to her personality and her interaction with the world around her, leaving her mark no matter where she is.
