"A perfect graveyard of buried hopes"
Utilizing the style and art direction of the famous Brad Kunkle, I explored ways of incorporating quotes from the book that alluded to Anne's beauty in the imaginative world that nature provided for her. Nature, as a means of solitude and comfort, was Anne's safe haven.
"To sleep in a tree in the moonshine"
Another exploration featuring a quote speaking more to Anne's sense of peace and the beauty of imaginative nature.
"But if you call me Anne please call me Anne spelled with an E."
The final frame features golden leaves and feathers, a blend of fauna and flora, brushing pass her name whimsically etched into a tree, her place of safety. We felt that this treatment perfectly alluded to her personality and her interaction with the world around her, leaving her mark no matter where she is.
